What we LOVED about 2011 – Lancaster area

By Moove In Self Storage

In honor of Valentine’s Day here are a few things our self storage Lancaster PA Manager’s we LOVED about 2011.

Lancaster Chamber Business Expo, Lancaster, PA.

The Lancaster PA Chamber always does a stellar job, whether it is with the different mixers they put on or with their annual Business Expo. It was held at the Lancaster County Convention Center, on 25 South Queen Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. They fill the center with thousands of booths with businesses, solely based in Lancaster County. It is a great time to meet other local businesses and the residents that are there to meet and greet. We had our cow there to mix it up, our madly popular Plinko game, plus gave out our newest cow swag, a cow print eco-bag. We look forward to the next one! If you are a Lancaster area business, we highly suggest attending.

The Buck Motorsports Park, Quarryville, PA.

Buck Motorsports ParkWe’ll admit it, we like living on the edge, at least for a night out every once in a while. The Buck Motorsports Park offers “a variety of motor sports events that is second to none! They put together 22 weeks of affordable action packed Saturday nights for the whole family to enjoy.” We especially like how there is a down home Pennsylvania twist with tractors and mud bogs.

If you are looking for something to do on a Saturday April-October, check it out, then swing by our self storage Quarryville facility which is right down the street.

Volunteers of America Collection Drive

Volunteers Of America PALast November and December, we collected clothing and shoes for Volunteers of America. Through the hard work of all of our managers, we collected over 2,000 items.

Volunteers of America supports and empowers America’s most vulnerable groups, including at-risk youth, the frail elderly, low-income families, homeless individuals and families, women and children escaping domestic violence, and those seeking affordable housing solutions.

What a great charity!
