Moove In Self Storage loves being a part of the Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce in Quarryville, PA. They really strive to keep their Quarryville customers happy and our local history alive. They work on advancing the civic, commercial, and industrial interests of the Southern Lancaster County area. They find ways to pool resources for activities including a sponsorship of two $500 scholarships for Solanco and Lampeter Strasburg High School seniors. Since 1955, they have been running strong and helping to keep our community original and our heritage intact. Every year they continue to grow stronger and more vital, expanding not only their reach, but also our services to our community.
The Chamber meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 AM at the Quarryville Library, 357 Buck Road, Quarryville, PA. We strongly advise anyone to come to suggest new ideas or just to be there. They have a strong history featuring buildings built hundreds of years ago including The Ark, the Robert Fulton Birthplace, Hans Herr House Museum, Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church, Peoples’ General Store, and much more. You won’t find a history as amazing as theirs.
They have many events that keeps our community together. There’s usually an event every month which has many members hosting it, and many people coming to it. This week’s event is the Annual Banquet at Black Rock Retreat which will happen March 12, from 6 PM until 10 PM. The night will be one of fun, food, music, and even a comedian.
