We want to thank Manor Ridge Lions Club for writing and submitting this Guest Blog to Moove In Self Storage. They are one of our valued non-profit partners, who also utilizes a self storage unit with us and is a long-time customer.

The Manor Ridge Lions Club has announced that they are celebrating their 60th year of serving the Lancaster area this year! This includes the Lions District 14-D of Lancaster and Lebanon County and LCIF.

MR-Lions-1956LIONS SERVE.
Our motto is “We Serve.” Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also feed the hungry, aid seniors and the disabled, and care for the environment. Lions are a global service network of volunteers who make a difference in their local communities.

We thank the residents of the Manor Ridge area and surrounding communities for their generous support through the years. This has given us the ability to serve those in need of eye glasses and children’s exams, and to provide medical equipment and local food bank support to Blue Rock Fire Company Station 1 (previously known as West Lancaster Fire Co). We also serve Vision Corps (previously known as the Susquehanna Area Blind and Vision Impaired Center), Leader Dogs for the Blind, and Lions International.

Moove In Self Storage has supported the Manor Ridge Lions’ Pancake Breakfasts for more than eight years. Our semi-annual breakfasts are a major source of our club’s fundraising. The storing of our equipment and sign supplies at Moove In Self Storage located on Stone Mill Road greatly helps our club, making it easy, clean and convenient. It’s absolutely essential to have this kind of local business support for our club to be successful in serving our community.

We are hoping to see everyone at our next breakfast which features all the pancakes you care to eat, with a serving of eggs and sausage, orange juice, coffee and milk.
